The Power of 9: A Year of Subtle Energy and Divine Alignment

The Power of 9: A Year of Subtle Energy and Divine Alignment

Beloved One,

As we step into the year 2025, we embrace the profound energy of the number 9— a number of completion, mastery, and self-governance. It is a year that invites us to align with the flow of divine wisdom, guiding us toward greater clarity, strength, and purpose. The energy of this year holds the potential to deeply transform us, and it asks us to be present with the subtle energies that surround us, allowing them to guide us with ease, grace, and authenticity.

In the Tree of Life, Yesod represents the foundation, the filter that bridges the unseen realms with the physical world. As we walk through this year, it is essential to hone our ability to receive divine inspiration and act upon it with wisdom. This is not a year for force, but for intelligent movement, where we allow ourselves to be guided by the subtle currents of energy that support our highest good.

9 is ruled by the Moon, amplifying our intuition, emotions, and the importance of working with natural cycles. Harness the energy of the moon to manifest your visions. Start with the new moon, setting your intentions. Refine your dreams with each quarter moon, and release what no longer serves you under the full moon. Trust in the wisdom that each cycle brings, and allow the lunar rhythm to guide your path.

The frequency of this year is purple—representing goddess energy, the high priestess, and spiritual mastery. This is a time to connect with the sacred, to honor the divine feminine, and to embrace your own inner royalty. Surround yourself with purple, wear it, and work with violet flame meditations to deepen your connection to these higher frequencies. You are a sovereign being, and this is your time to rise into your full power.

This is a year to tune into the unseen. The subtle body, intuition, and divine intelligence are our guides. For those of us attuned to the feminine energy, this year will offer an easier connection to these higher frequencies. Trust in your inner wisdom and allow it to lead you. The veil between the physical and spiritual worlds is thinner than ever, and messages from the divine will come in many forms—dreams, visions, synchronicities. Listen closely, and know that you are always supported.

Remember, this year is not about pushing or forcing. It’s about intelligent action—working with the energy rather than against it. Obstacles that arise are not signs to stop; they are opportunities to reassess, redirect, and grow. Trust that the challenges are meant to teach you something valuable.

Deep listening is key. In the stillness, you will hear the divine whispers that guide you forward. Meditate, practice breathwork, and create space for silence. When inspiration comes, move swiftly, but when resistance appears, pause. Allow the natural flow to reveal the next steps.

2025 is the Year of the Mystic, and it promises an increase in astral projection, lucid dreaming, and remote viewing. Pay close attention to your dreams and journal them—your subconscious will be delivering messages wrapped in symbolism and imagery. Trust the subtle signs you receive from the universe; they are often more powerful than words. Your inner knowing will guide you more than seeking external validation.

Let go of idolizing teachers and gurus. They are simply guides, but you are the conduit for Source energy. Trust that the answers you seek are within you.

Astrological shifts this year, particularly Pluto’s move into Aquarius, call us to embrace personal sovereignty and self-governance. It is a time of empowerment, especially in business and entrepreneurship. 2025 will bring challenges on a global scale—yet our role is to move through these fires with grace, wisdom, and a steady heart. Flow with the changes, for 9 is a soft yet powerful energy, malleable, adaptable, and fluid. Embrace the unknown as an ally, rather than something to fear.

Honor your temple. The body is a sacred vessel, and maintaining a clean mind and energy field is essential this year. Avoid anything that dulls your subtle connection—whether it's toxic food, negative media, or relationships that drain your energy. Engage your senses to manifest with greater ease. Feel the emotions of your desires as if they’ve already arrived—peace, joy, fulfillment, and relief. Protect your energy using tools like black tourmaline, black onyx, and amethyst to shield against negativity and amplify your intuition.

Herbs for Support:

  • Yarrow Flower Essence: Strengthens the aura and protects against energetic projection. Use in mist, baths, or candles.

  • Mugwort: Enhances dreams, intuition, and connection to the subconscious realm.

Key Lessons of 9

  1. Self-Governance: Own your time, resources, and choices. Align your actions with your values.

  2. Trust the Process: What is being filtered out is not meant for you. Let go with ease and trust that what is meant for you will remain.

  3. The Obstacle is the Way: Every challenge is a teacher. Rather than resisting, embrace the lessons with an open heart.

  4. Tiny Actions Build the Big Picture: Every small, consistent step you take contributes to the grand vision. Trust the journey.

This year is one of deep wisdom, divine connection, and profound transformation. Trust yourself, move with grace, and allow the subtle magic of 9 to guide you. You are on a sacred path, and all you need is within you. Let this year be one where you remember your power, embrace your purpose, and flow with the energy of divine alignment.

Please know that I am always here to support you along your journey as a coach, a friend and a reliable community member.

Nadi Shodhana: Alternate Nostril Breathing

Nadi Shodhana: Alternate Nostril Breathing

Beloved One,

Nadi Shodhana, also known as Alternate Nostril Breathing, is a calming and balancing pranayama (breathing technique) in yoga. It involves inhaling and exhaling alternately through each nostril, one at a time, while closing off the opposite nostril with your fingers. This practice helps to cleanse and purify the energy channels (nadis) in the body, promoting mental clarity, reducing stress, and bringing harmony to the mind and body. Nadi Shodhana is often used to enhance focus, improve respiratory function, and encourage a sense of deep relaxation and inner peace.

How to:

1. Sit in a comfortable position either cross legged or you may sit in a chair with your feet comfortably on the ground.

2. Vishnu Mudra: Take your right hand and bring the index finger and middle finger to touch while brining the ring finger and pink to touch. Fold down the index finger and middle finger. You will use your thumb to cover the right nostril and the ring finger to close your left nostril.

3. To begin: Close the right nostril with your thumb and begin breathing in through your left nostril. Exhale slowly and completely before taking another inhale of equal length. At the top of the breath you will switch nostrils by closing the left nostril with the ring and releasing the thumb.

Continue this alternate nostril breath at your own pace, nice and slowly.

Only switching nostrils on the after the inhale. Take a pause at the top of the breath before exhaling. If you are pregnant, skip the pause and just keep the breath slow and rhythmic without holding the breath in or out.

4. Continue for 1-3 minutes, gradually increasing your time as you please.

Benefits:

 Increases oxygen flow

 Clears and releases toxins

 Reduces stress and anxiety

 Calms and rejuvenates the nervous system

 Balances hormones

 Clears and balances respiratory channels

 Helps to alleviate respiratory irritants

 Balances solar and lunar, masculine and feminine energies

 Enhances mental clarity and cognitive function

 Enhances concentration

 Balances both hemispheres of the brain.

 Breathing through the left nostril cools the nervous system and stimulates the right hemisphere, our creative side

 Breathing through the right nostril warms the nervous system and stimulates the left hemisphere, our logical side

The Four Pillars of Ayurveda: A Path to Wholeness

The Four Pillars of Ayurveda: A Path to Wholeness

Beloved one,

Ayurveda is not simply a system of healing—it is a way of life, a remembering of our deep connection to nature, to the rhythms of the cosmos, and to the sacred wisdom within. When we live in harmony with these rhythms, we experience true health—not just the absence of disease, but a radiant state of vitality, peace, and purpose.

At the heart of Ayurveda lie four sacred pillars that uphold our well-being: Ahara (diet), Vihara (lifestyle and behavior), Achara (mental and emotional well-being), and Chikitsa (therapeutic treatments). These pillars offer us a roadmap to balance and wholeness, guiding us back to our innate wisdom.

Let us walk together through these four gateways of healing, with tenderness and reverence for this temple that is your body, your mind, and your soul.

Ahara: Nourishment as Medicine

Ahara is more than the food on our plate—it is the essence that becomes our body, our thoughts, and our emotions. The ancient texts remind us that food, when chosen with care and eaten with gratitude, is our first and most profound medicine.

To nourish ourselves deeply, we must listen to our bodies, attuning to the whispers of our doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha) and the seasons of the earth. Warm, grounding meals in winter. Cooling, hydrating foods in summer. Fresh, light nourishment in spring. Each bite we take should honor not only our digestion but also the sacred cycle of life.

Ask yourself: Is my food full of prana (life force)? Am I eating with presence? Does my meal bring harmony to my body and spirit?

Vihara: Living in Alignment with Nature

Vihara is the rhythm of our daily life—the way we rise, move, rest, and engage with the world. In Ayurveda, this rhythm is called Dinacharya, our daily routine, and it is one of the most potent ways to cultivate longevity and joy.

Imagine waking with the sun, gently cleansing your senses, moving your body with devotion, and stepping into the day with clarity. In the evening, surrendering to rest, allowing yourself to be cradled by the moon’s embrace.

When we align our days with the natural flow of energy, our nervous system softens, our digestion strengthens, and our minds find peace.

Ask yourself: Am I moving in harmony with nature? Do I offer my body the rest and care it needs?

Achara: The Mind, Heart, and Soul

Ah, dear one—this pillar is where true healing begins. Achara speaks to the emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of our being. Ayurveda teaches that every thought, every emotion, every belief we hold ripples through our body like a stone dropped into a sacred pool.

To nurture this pillar, we must become gentle guardians of our inner world. Mindfulness, self-inquiry, and spiritual practices like meditation, prayer, and mantra bring clarity to the heart and steadiness to the mind. It is here that we unravel the old wounds, the inherited patterns, the stories that no longer serve us—and in doing so, we make space for our true self to shine.

Ask yourself: What thoughts do I feed my soul? How do I tend to my emotional well-being? What practices bring me closer to my truth?

Chikitsa: Healing as an Act of Devotion

Chikitsa is the wisdom of healing—through herbs, bodywork, detoxification, and sacred touch. It is an act of devotion to care for the body as a holy vessel, supporting its ability to cleanse, restore, and rejuvenate.

Ayurveda offers an abundance of therapeutic treatments—Abhyanga (oil massage), Panchakarma (deep detoxification), herbal medicine, breathwork, sound healing, and more. These practices remind us that healing is not about fixing what is broken, but about returning to the natural state of wholeness that has always been within us.

Ask yourself: What healing rituals does my body crave? Am I allowing myself to receive the care I deserve?

When we honor these four pillars, we step into a life of grace, vitality, and purpose. We eat in a way that nourishes, we move in a way that restores, we think in a way that uplifts, and we heal in a way that honors our sacred nature.

This path is not about perfection—it is about awareness. It is about listening, adjusting, and remembering that you are a reflection of the earth, the stars, and the great mystery itself.

May you walk this journey with gentleness. May you nourish yourself with love. And may you always remember: healing is not a destination—it is a way of being.

Your healing journey starts now. What Does It Mean to Live Holistically? A Path to Wholeness

What Does It Mean to Live Holistically? A Path to Wholeness

What Does It Mean to Live Holistically? A Path to Wholeness

Beloved one,

In a world that often pulls us in many directions, where we are asked to compartmentalize our lives—work in one box, health in another, emotions tucked away somewhere else—the call to live holistically is a call to return to wholeness.

To be holistic is to recognize that everything is connected—our bodies, minds, emotions, relationships, food, the earth, the cosmos. There is no separation, only an intricate web of energy, each part influencing the whole. When we honor this interconnectedness, we find deeper healing, alignment, and a sense of coming home to ourselves.

Let us explore together what it means to live holistically and how we can weave this wisdom into every aspect of our lives.

Holistic Living: A Life in Harmony

To live holistically means to live in harmony with yourself, others, and the world around you. It means seeing your body not as a collection of separate parts, but as a beautifully interwoven system where physical health, mental well-being, emotional balance, and spiritual depth all dance together.

It is waking up and asking:
How do I nourish my body today?
How do I care for my emotions with love and gentleness?
How do I move my body in a way that honors its rhythm?
How do I deepen my connection to the earth, to the people in my life, to the divine?

Holistic living is about choosing wholeness in every small moment—in the food we eat, the way we breathe, the thoughts we think, the way we love.

Holistic Eating: Nourishing the Body & Soul

Food is not just fuel. It is energy, it is medicine, it is sacred. Every bite we take carries a vibration—it can heal, energize, and balance us, or it can deplete, inflame, and disconnect us.

To eat holistically is to:
Choose whole, unprocessed foods as often as possible—fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds, and herbs in their most natural forms.
Eat seasonally and locally, aligning with nature’s rhythm.
Bless your food and eat with presence, knowing that food is more than nutrients—it is life force.
Use herbs and spices as medicine, from ginger for digestion to turmeric for inflammation.

When we respect food as sacred, we are not just nourishing the body—we are nurturing the soul.

Holistic medicine does not ask, “What symptom do we need to suppress?” but rather, “What is the root cause of this imbalance?”

It understands that physical symptoms are often messages from deeper layers of our being. A headache may be more than just a headache—it could be stress, dehydration, poor digestion, or even emotional energy trapped in the body.

Holistic medicine includes:
Ayurveda – Balancing the body through diet, herbs, and daily routines that align with your unique constitution.
Traditional Chinese Medicine – Using acupuncture, herbs, and Qi energy flow to restore harmony.
Breathwork & Meditation – Tapping into the body’s innate ability to heal through the breath.
Energy Healing – Reiki, sound healing, and chakra balancing to realign our energetic field.

True healing happens when we look at the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—and address the deeper layers of imbalance.

To be holistic is not just about what we eat or how we heal—it is a way of moving through life with presence, love, and connection.

Here are ways to cultivate wholeness in your daily life:

Breathe with awareness – Every inhale is a gift. Breathe slowly, deeply, consciously. Let it anchor you to the present.

Honor your emotions – Feel them fully. Emotions are energy; when we acknowledge them, they move through us instead of becoming stuck.

Move with intention – Whether it’s yoga, walking, or dance, move in a way that brings joy and flow to your body.

Connect with nature – Put your feet on the earth, watch the sunrise, swim in the ocean. Nature recalibrates us back to our truest selves.

Nurture relationships that nourish you – Surround yourself with people who uplift, honor, and support your journey.

Live in rhythm with nature – Wake with the sun, rest when your body asks, honor the cycles of the moon, the seasons, and your own inner tides.

Trust your intuition – The body, the heart, the soul—they always know. Listen.

When we approach life this way, we become a living prayer, a walking meditation, a vessel of love and balance.

Holistic living is not about perfection—it is about connection. It is about choosing, in every moment, to honor your body, your soul, and the sacred web of life that holds us all.

You are not separate from nature.
You are not separate from the universe.
You are not separate from love.

You are the universe in motion. You are the breath of the divine. You are whole.

Come home to yourself, beloved one.
In each choice, in each breath, in each moment—choose wholeness.

Your healing journey starts now. Pisces New Moon: A Sacred Reset for the Soul

Pisces New Moon: A Sacred Reset for the Soul

Pisces New Moon: A Sacred Reset for the Soul (February 27, 2025)

Beloved ones,

The New Moon in Pisces arrives like a gentle wave, inviting us to surrender, dream, and embrace the unseen magic that flows all around us. This is not just another lunar cycle—it is a sacred portal of renewal, offering us a chance to release, realign, and reconnect with our deepest truth.

Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac, is the dreamer, the mystic, the healer. It teaches us the power of surrender, the beauty of intuition, and the wisdom of trusting in divine flow. This New Moon is a time to soften, listen, and allow yourself to be guided by the currents of your soul.

The Power of Pisces: A Moon of Surrender & Soul Alignment

Pisces is a water sign, deeply connected to the unconscious, intuition, and emotional healing. This New Moon is asking:
• What is ready to be released? Old wounds, limiting beliefs, and patterns of self-doubt—Pisces helps us let them dissolve like mist in the morning sun.
• Where is your soul longing to flow? This is a time to tune in, not push forward. Pisces reminds us that some of the greatest transformations happen when we simply allow.
• How can you trust more deeply? The universe is always conspiring in your favor. This New Moon invites you to lean into faith and believe in what you cannot yet see.

Neptune’s Embrace: A Portal to the Divine

This New Moon is closely conjunct Neptune, the ruler of Pisces, making the energy even more mystical and dreamlike. When Neptune whispers, it invites us to:

Listen to our intuition with reverence
Open ourselves to spiritual downloads and divine messages
Create from a place of pure soul expression—art, music, poetry, movement
Pay attention to our dreams—they are speaking volumes right now

The veil between worlds is thin, dear ones. If you feel extra sensitive, emotional, or deeply connected to something greater than yourself, know that this is the gift of Pisces. Let it wash over you like a healing tide.

Saturn’s Wisdom: Manifesting the Dream

Unlike some Pisces New Moons that feel like drifting in an endless sea, this one carries the grounding presence of Saturn in Pisces. Saturn, the wise elder of the cosmos, brings structure and stability to these flowing waters. It asks us:
• How can I bring my dreams into reality? Pisces dreams, but Saturn builds. This is the time to take those soul-led visions and give them form.
• What spiritual practices can I commit to? Whether it’s daily meditation, journaling, or ritual, Saturn encourages devotion to our inner work.
• Where do I need to set loving boundaries? Sensitivity is a gift, but we must also protect our energy. Honor your need for rest, solitude, and sacred space.

This rare blend of dreamy Pisces and wise Saturn makes this New Moon the perfect time to commit to your soul’s path in a way that is both mystical and grounded.

Pluto in Aquarius: The Collective Awakening

With Pluto now in Aquarius, this New Moon isn’t just personal—it’s part of a greater awakening. Pisces calls us to oneness, compassion, and divine love, while Pluto in Aquarius is revolutionizing the way we connect, heal, and co-create in this world.

We are being asked to:
Release fear and step into trust
Embody the wisdom we have been gathering
Remember that healing ourselves is healing the collective

This is soul-level transformation, my loves. We are shifting into a new way of being, and this Pisces New Moon is here to usher us forward with grace and ease.

A Ritual for the Pisces New Moon

If you feel called, here is a gentle ritual to honor this sacred lunation:
1. Create a sacred space—Light a candle, burn incense, or sit by water. Let yourself feel safe, soft, and open.
2. Write a letter of release—Let go of old fears, doubts, and anything weighing heavy on your heart. Burn it safely as an offering of surrender.
3. Journal your dreams—Write down your visions, intuitive nudges, or soul whispers. Let them flow without logic—Pisces speaks in symbols, not strategy.
4. Meditate or do breathwork—Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and imagine yourself floating in a vast, cosmic ocean, fully supported by the divine.
5. Set an intention from the heart—Instead of asking how something will happen, simply trust that it will. Whisper your wish to the universe and release it with love.

Final Thoughts: A Moon of Grace, Trust & Divine Flow

This Pisces New Moon is a rare and sacred reset—an invitation to soften, trust, and realign with your soul’s highest path. There is nothing to force, nothing to chase. Simply be, listen, and allow.

The universe is working on your behalf, my love.
Let go, trust, and watch the magic unfold.

Your healing journey starts now. Kitchari

Kitchari

Beloved One,

Welcome to the delicious, nurturing foundation of Kitchari. Kitchari is a beautiful rice dish derived from the ancient teachings of Panchakarma in Ayurveda and is seen as one of the greatest medicines for nourishing our digestion. While this can be eaten as a regular meal, it is also used as a detox. For the first three days, keep it simple. When making the kitchari, focus more on the rice, beans and spices. Day four start slowly incorporating the vegetables and continue for 7 days to detox your system. This can be eaten for breakfast, lunch and dinner (avoid snacking between meals) to help clean out your system, reduce inflammation, rebalance your digestion and cleanse the body. Kitchari can be adapted to best heal the dosha that is out of balance, otherwise known as healing the vikruti. Remember that in order to balance out your vikruti (current state of imbalance), you must know your prakruti (birth constitution). Feel free to take these quizzes below to learn more about yourself and your needs:

KUNDALINI MEDIATION AND PRANAYAMA: EGO ERADICATOR

KUNDALINI MEDIATION AND PRANAYAMA: EGO ERADICATOR

KUNDALINI MEDIATION AND PRANAYAMA: EGO ERADICATOR

Beloved One,

Ego Eradicator is a very special pose in the Kundalini world as it not only considered a posture but also a potent pranayama (breathwork) and meditation. Our EGO is designed to provide a sense of self and personal identity which is essential for navigating our social environments and understanding our place in this world. While sometimes, people think the ego leaves us feeling limited, it’s simply doing its job to protect us and set boundaries. It helps us make decisions that prioritize our well-being based on our past experiences. With that said, the ego can be very stubborn when it comes to change so if you are experiencing self-limiting thoughts and beliefs when it comes to evolving from a situation that once appeared risky and is now opening you up to a new understanding, practicing EGO ERADICATOR can help you enhance your mental clarity and focus when it comes to sorting through old beliefs, behaviors and thought patterns. This practice helps remove emotional blockages to lead you to greater emotional stability and balance while reducing stress and improving your respiratory health. Ground in to this present moment and release your attachment to the past so you can shift your future.

To Practice:

1) Sit comfortably in easy pose. Sitting cross legged with your spine straight, the neck long and your chin slightly tucked in to Jalandhar Bandh

2) Raise your arms over head into a “V” shape at 60 degrees and curl the fingers into the palms with your thumbs out pointing inwards. To close, we will lift the arms overheard for the thumbs to touch. Keep the elbows straight throughout the practice

3) Eyes are closed or gazing at the tip of the nose

4) Begin pumping your navel dramatically as you exhale for Breath of Fire (BOF). For those of you practicing BOF for the first time, it is very similar to “panting like a dog” but with your mouth closed. Pumping the navel will naturally draw in fresh oxygen so don’t worry about the inhale!

To Close:

1) Inhale deeply, raise the arms overhead and touch the thumbs together

2) Suspend the breath at the top for 15 seconds or until you’re ready to exhale completely

3) As you exhale, lower the arms down and sit in stillness for a few moments noticing how you feel

The Rise of Ayurveda in Charleston

The Rise of Ayurveda in Charleston

The Rise of Ayurveda in Charleston

Beloved One,

My name is Mystic and today, I am going to de-mystify the buzzword that we’ve all been hearing around Charleston over the last year. As an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Coach and aspiring Ayurvedic Practitioner, I couldn’t be more excited to see the genuine curiosity our community has been raising around this ancient science. In a bustling world filled with endless to-do lists and constant stimulation, finding balance and inner harmony can often feel like an elusive dream. Yet, nestled within the ancient traditions of India lies a timeless wisdom that offers a pathway to holistic health and well-being—Ayurveda. Translated as the “science of life”; Ayurveda is more than just a system of medicine; it is a profound philosophy that teaches us to live in harmony with ourselves and the natural world around us. We can imagine Ayurveda as a blue print or personalized roadmap to our own unique health and happiness. Unlike modern medicine’s one-size-fits-all approach, Ayurveda recognizes that each individual is born with a specific balance of energies, known as doshas, which govern our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual characteristics. These doshas are known as Vata, Pitta and Kapha.

Vata embodies the qualities of movement and change. It is associated with the elements air and ether. governs functions like circulation, breathing, and creativity. When in balance, Vata individuals are lively, imaginative, and adaptable. However, excess Vata can lead to anxiety, dryness, and restlessness.

Pitta represents the elements of fire and water, governing digestion, metabolism, and intellect. Pitta types tend to be driven, focused, and passionate. When balanced, they exhibit strong digestion and a sharp intellect, but imbalanced Pitta may manifest as irritability, inflammation, or digestive issues.

Kapha embodies stability and structure, governed by earth and water elements. Kaphaindividuals are typically calm, nurturing, and grounded. They have strong immunity and endurance when in balance but can experience sluggishness, weight gain, or attachment when Kapha is excessive.

Now while this may be familiar to some of you who have done their research, I would like to explain the importance of understanding the difference between your Prakruti and your Vikruti. It’s natural to think you understand your dosha after taking your first “dosha quiz” once first diving into the fundamentals of Ayurveda, however I see too often people take the quiz and think that the results are what they are instead of realizing that this is the dosha presenting itself as what needs balance. While our Prakruti is the doshic combination that we are born with, our Vikruti is the dosha or doshas that need to be regulated. Only when we know our Prakruti can we truly balance out our Vikruti because we want to restore our own unique balance instead of simply trying to balance the doshas a whole. When we understand this, we must next understand the “Law of Attraction”. The Law of Attraction states that “like attracts like”, thus in order to restore balance we must invite or use the opposite qualities, diet, exercise, lifestyle, etc to pacify our Vikruti.

Incorporating Ayurvedic principles into your daily life doesn't have to be daunting. Simple practices like eating mindfully, staying hydrated and establishing a regular sleep schedule can profoundly impact your well-being. Ayurveda encourages us to listen to our bodies, cultivate self-awareness, and make conscious choices that promote harmony on all levels—physical, mental, and spiritual. As you embark on your journey with Ayurveda, remember that it is not just a set of rules but a philosophy of living in tune with your true nature.
